Democrats Previous Views on the Filibuster (before it suited their needs)
An article in National Review, The Filbuster: Then & Now, points out that in 1995, Leiberman, Harkin, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry (plus 15 others) all supported getting rid of the filibuster - entirely. Guess it suited them then and not now. Back then it was called "legislative piracy"...how things change.
This fact should be made far more widely known.
